Crocker & Aston
CROCKER & ASTON was a short-lived partnership at Maryborough between Alfred Crocker and GP ASTON, as auctioneers, architects and surveyors, house and land agents and property valuators, from March to September 1879. Their success in business was not architectural. Thereafter Aston was appointed town surveyor and foreman of works. From 1886, Crocker was licensee of the Shamrock and later Globe Hotels. He was insolvent in 1889 and 1901 and by 1912 was managing the Club Hotel at Goondiwindi where he later died.
